70cm/30w complete PA with RA30H4047 and MMIC driver

Aimed at the amateur radio community, this is a 70cm UHF power amplifier module. Driver used was a -5dbm DTX1 modulator

Ex equipment but perfect working order (only lightly used in the hobby) 70cm PA built by Bert Modderman.

Fitted with both an MMIC pre-amp and output driver RA30H4047 module.

Power: 12volt, Bias input can be set as required both internally and externally via a feedthrough.

A top quality amplifier built into a custom aluminium solid billet

Input via SMA connector, Output via N-Type connector

Needs to be mounted on a good quality heatsink (Not supplied)

Drive needed very low due to MMIC - was running on less than -5dBm input

RA30H4047 rated at 400-470Mhz 30w

You are buying one unit - Picture shows both interior/exterior shot of module.

Dimensions: 112mm x 60mm x 27.5mm (excluding connectors & terminals)

NOTE: If being used for ATV work, then the output/drive must be kept at a level where the RF envelope 'ears' are kept at a low level to avoid digital distortion.
